Alrighty people, shoulda probably posted this to begin with. Posting pictures is really simple and pain free, so here's how to do it:
Firstly, your picture has to be on a website somewhere, like lycos or geocities or something like that.
Here's what to do next:
Create a new post/topic, and in the text area, there's a button, just under the font size menu, that looks like this... <>
Click that button, then in the text area, copy this [but without the commas, and insert the address for your picture in the address line]
,

If you want the picture to be centered, leave the above text like it is. If you want the picture on the left side of your post, remove the
, and

So, for example, I type in
,
[without the comma]
and I get...
Hope this helps, if you have any questions, feel free to post 'em.

I don't know about Lycos, but I definitely know that Geocities does not allow offsite linking. (Neither does Angelfire or most of the "free webpage" hosting places.)
Before you guys sign up at a place to store your pictures, make sure you check that it does allow offsite linking, otherwise your pictures will not show up.
I use photobucket.com, but there are more sites out there as well.
Thanx for posting the reply about the free sites crunky, the instructions I posted were actually from an activeboard help forum, with a few website address changes, but good to know...I've been a geocities member for years, and I didn't know you couldn't offsite link to their stuff, so thanx for the heads up message.
