Canadian Artists... other than Starfield

It seems to me that there are more and more great artists coming out of Canada. Starfield is one of them, but there are so many more. Amanda Falk is wonderful. She is so cute and she has a HUGE heart. Last weekend i saw a guy named Greg Sczebel and he was an amazing artist. I just wanted to know who your favorite Canadian Christian artists are... other than Starfield

other fav. CANADIAN artists besides starfield... oy vay, at the top is starfield (of course). but some other goodies to check out are ... default, aaron pritchett (both of the above mentioned are from my hometown), paul brandt, and adam gregory (yes... i like country music as well), i kind of stopped listening to secular music for a long time... so i'm thinking really hard.... our lady peace.... doxa, downhere, riley armstrong, hokus pick (when they were still together), The Suspenders (okay big props to these guys as well, one cause i've known them most of my life, two they go to my church, and three they just have some awesome music and songs for worshipping God, and just fun songs in general... they also have huge hearts dedicated to young people), thousand foot krutch..... the list goes on

And to answer stacetta's question - Greg Sczebel, Jill Paquette, Jaylene Johnson, Riley Armstrong, Jake, Amanda Falk, downhere...hmm...I know there are others, but my brain can't think of them. Plus...the hockey game is on *Go Flames Go!*

Stereotrap.  I thought they were great, they are from Saskatchewan. Yup, they sure are up there in my favorites too.  Starfield is way at the top of my list, but Stereotrap is there to.

Hey Mac, I missed the Jaylene/Jill show at the Dream Centre but I've seen them both in concert a few times.  They rock!  Hmm I guess Relient K has been considered Canadian, even if only their lead singer is from this great land

Toby's CD is great. I love it, there are some places where they have clips of the songs. always a good idea to listen to those before buying a CD... never know, one person may like it, but others may not. ya know?

i've heard that they are still performing together. just not the tour kind of thing we'd all like. they all were moving on in life... so we'll have to give them our blessings and keep them in our prayers.

let's just rename the forum topic 'jake'. anyways you are right they didn't officially break up, they had legal problems in the states with their name. some other girl in new york had their name, legal problems ensued... (lawyers... record label...) etc etc. anyways to cut a long story short, toby is in nashville (bbq'ing steaks last night), and marty + andrea, and josh are somewhere else :) yes being happy and having happy jobs. hopefully they will still be encouraged to keep rocking out for God only :)

Starfield ... of course ... Jake, Relient K, Even is pretty good, not big yet, but have a feeling they will bc the christian music industry doesnt really have a coldplay soundin band yet ... if Even gets big which band will Shaun be in?!?!?! Dixon is awesome, but they are a local band, they probably will get big, they have a Billy Talent feel to them, Billy Talent is also an amazing Canadian band, not Christian unfortunetly!
