the album..

Ok, so who got their album today?  I've got mine.  If you've gotten yours already I have a question for you, (a few)...

1. Do you love it? I do!

2. In the album sleeve under the lyrics for Cry in My Heart (3rd paraghraph down, last one for that page) where it says "Jon Neufeld: background vocals etc... then it goes on to list what Tim does.  But I was wondering why Lindsay Jamieson was listed as drummer?  And James Gregory was listed as bass?  Didn't John A. and Shaun H. play on the album?

Sometimes there are different people who play on the album. No worries

you'd be surprised about the number of artists that actually play on their own album, and the ones that don't. in no reference to tim/jon at all... (actually i heard it from them)... many performers get others to play on the album.. for instance a quote at this years GMA's was that Tyler B (from Audio A) basically played on everyone's album... he's that good.

if that's the case, then why are the even considered band members?  I don't get it.  Could it be a mis-print?

You mean shaun and jonny 5? because technically they are.. they are now 'part of starfield'.. hired at the last moment to go on tour with them and basically join the band permanently... or officially. (i think... it's been awhile since this all took place)

1. *squee* IloveitIloveitIloveit!! Revolution and Ordinary Life... wow. (Am still undecided about the new Tumbling After, though. It having been one of my favourite songs, I am not coping well with the changes. )

2. Yeah, according to the cd liner, they're credited as being part of the band but don't seem to have actually played anythign on this CD. Someone please clarify!

Ok ya'll so i got the CD the day after it came out and i must say that I do really enjoy it. I love Outstrected Hands, it has great lyrics. I must admit that i was disappointed in Tumbling After though... why is Tim singing it?!?! i really enjoy hearing both of the guys vocals. Tim has a very nice smooth voice with a little rock/pop edge and Jon has a... rougher... no... textured... no... unrefined?... i dunno, but i like his voice too and i wish that he could do lead vocals too. Other than that it is an amazing album. Way to go guys!!!

I really love the new CD it is totally awesome! I really wish that Jon still sang tumbling after but whatever. I'll get over it. Ok about the whole Jonny and Shaun thing. Its really strange bc I was talking to Shauns mom today and she was going on about how Shaun was really proud of the album and stuff like that, so it really seemed like he did, plus if they didnt record then why would they have thank you in the slips? Its kinda weird. I have to call Shauns mom tomorrow anyways so I'll ask her about that!
