Okay guys, I need some prayers for a friend of mine. I'm not going to go into detail, because its her private life but I think she really really needs some prayer.
Basically she's having some problems with a horrible father (in way more ways than one), and she's finally had enough and has finally actually told me about it all. She's not a Christian, and I'm not sure where she stands on her views on God because she never seems to voice the same opinion. But she really really needs comfort right now, and I pray that maybe she'll do some searching and find some comfort in God.
She's hopefully coming with me to the Starfield CD release party, because she likes them (I'm not to great when it comes to speaking with others about my faith, so I've been exposing them as best I can to some awesome Christian music to at least maybe plant some seeds). What I hope is that maybe through this concert, and these wonderful God-directed young men, that she will be exposed to some awesome stuff that might send her in the right direction with the Lord, so she might find some comfort and some peace in her life for once.
I have a few other non-Christian friends who might be coming as well, and I hope that the concert will do the same for them too, but I think this one girl needs it the most in her life right now. If you guys could just pray that she'll find some answers through this concert, and maybe even through myself and our other really good Christian friend, that would be so awesome.
An update on this: it turns out my friend can't get off of work on Saturday and won't make it to the CD Release Party. If you guys could still pray for her, though, that would be so great.
