Volunteering

Hey guys. This evening just as I was leaving the Flatland Cafe, the director came out and said he'd like to chat with me about my application form regarding volunteering there. I had handed my application in about 2 months ago, and have been looking forward to being able to volunteer there. My prayer request is that 1) I'll be able to pursue a strong relationship with the Lord and not let it go this time, 2) that I can be a good example to others on how to be a Godly person, 3) that I will be able to volunteer there. The reason I would really like to volunteer with is because the people that already volunteer there are such good inspirations to me. I can talk with them...and have a heart to heart. And now is the time where I've been paying more attention to devotionals from youth, and really taking in praise and worship time at youth...taking advantage of those moments. Even within the last 3 days I've seen a change in my attitude...not only in how I talk to my friends or family about this or that, but also my language use. It's really taken a halt, and that's what I've been waiting for. The saying "it takes time" must be really true, because I've been praying and praying about that exact thing for a while now, and it took so long, but the time has finally come, and now I'm really enjoying this time. It's phenomenal how happy I've been over the past few days. I think a huge part of it also has to do with the change in churches. Southland Community Free Church is an amazing church. The youth program...I can't fathom what I would be like or who I would be as a person if I wouldn't have taken the plunge and gone to the bonfire at one of the youth leaders' house. I don't regret any of it. But that's about it for now. Thank you guys so incredibly much for taking the time to bless me with your prayers. Every prayer counts, and every prayer really does work a miracle in one way or another. God Bless you all! And Alyssa, thank you so much for everything you've taught me...even just over MSN...I really do appreciate it. I hope we can have a heart to heart again sometime soon...WHEN I GET UNGROUNDED FROM MSN!!! Haha. God Bless you guys!!!

Your sister in Christ,
Lindsay Sharayah Reimer :)
