Hey! I just read the prayer of Jabez for Teens and it is an amazing book! I would deffinetly recomend it to all of you! Most ppl have a problem with readin the bible but can easily pray but its opposite for me, so this book really helped me realize just how important prayer is in life. I get so discouraged bc my life really sucks sometimes, but i think with Jabezs prayer I really will be able to make a difference in my community!
Also I would like to start up a site for Victoria that tells all the teens about inter denominational events and things going on in our community. If you could just pray that God would help me and give me ideas about how I should start this up. With out God I know that I cant do this but with Him I know the possibilities are endless!

I don't think its so much of having a problem with reading the bible as maybe some of our leaders dont teach enough from it and make it fun or exciting. If the passion isn't there for something then why follow someone else? Personally I LOVE the Amplified bible, and I also got the Message remix bible awhile ago to tackle the old testament. Very fun! About having a life that sucks.. one thing that made a difference to me is this week I volunteered for World Vision at a number of events. I have two kids, one in El Salvador who's 20 years and 1 month younger than me (Karen), and then a boy who's 14 who lives in Jerusalem, West Bank.. yes its the place that the war is in. So every time I think my life 'sucks'.. (well first I just starting remembering the excellent life that Jesus has for me and I need to take a hold of it).. I just look at the pictures of my kids. Another thing that helps is to look at the 'who i am in christ' list I have over and over again. Because you can't live on yesterday's food, or even last week or last months food.. got to get it in daily if you want to have a successful, whole, blessed life.
