Friends, again

So, I have a friend who I think was seriously searching for the Truth. I'd like to think I had something to do with it, exposing her to Starfield and other awesome artists in the music biz, but I'm sure it wasn't completely me.

Just the other day she saw The Passion with a pair of other non-believers. I seriously seriously wish that she had seen it with a believer as well, because I think the movie may had sparked a discussion between the threee of them that did not turn out well. She seems now like she's turned off by it all.

I myself have not yet seen the movie (due to my squeamishness), but I plan to eventually. This is a problem, though, since now I can't talk about the movie with her, and the only other Christian friend she has has just left for Bible college.

I really wish that she'd investigate a little more, and hear things from both sides, rather than base her opinion purely on a conversation with other seriously-non-believers. I can't even invite her to church, since she works early on Sundays.

I'm sorry, this is turning into more of a rant than a prayer request... this wasn't my intention...

Anyway, just please pray for her that she doesn't make a decision just yet, that she'll do a little more searching, and that maybe I can be of some help to her for once, because at the moment I feel just... a whole lot of despair and uselessness.

awwww! I totally know how you feel. One of my friends was like that too, as soon as I got anywhere with here and she was comin sooo close, something would happen and she wouldnt come to Christ. I've been prayin for her for 3 yrs now, and have cried tears over her pain too, but it isnt in vain bc progress is better than nothing, its also amazing to hear her say stuff to me like 'you are one of the only ppl who doesnt judge me' its soooo cool bc God doesnt want us to judge and soooo often Christians are thought of to be judgin ppl, but her non Christian friends are the ones judgin. I guess what I'm sayin is never lose hope, bc if you lose hope nothing will change, but if you keep it eventually things will change abit at least like in my case. Oh one of my other friend that I prayed for for 2 yrs became a Christian a while ago at a Hillsong concert. Take your friend to a concert, that usually hits them in the heart! I'll be prayin for ya!

I've taken her to a Jake concert, where she also saw Starfield open for them (which, I think has helped her start to think about it, or at least be vocal with us about her thoughts). She was really hoping to come to the Starfield CD Release party but then she had to work. Disappointing, to say the least.

If only Starfield was gonna play here again soon. *sigh*
