So I was on this site surfing around, when I saw an ad banner (i think), for gyrospinners.com It was a mixer of things, but had music reviews.. I thought what the hey.. lets see if Starboys have been reviewed.. well then:
Starfield Starfield 2004
Sparrow Records brings us their new much hyped band Starfield. These Canadian natives have received many accolades from their home country as an independent band and now they've come to the states to show off their talents.
And Starfield is talented but unfortunately their cd lacks for attention grabbing music. Despite a few songs like "Filled With Your Glory", "Tumbling After", and "Cry In My Heart" I found myself really bored with much of the album. The songs just drone on without much personality or anything really new that we haven't heard from a dozen other pseudo-worship pop/rock bands that seem to abound in the Christian market these days. This is nothing different than what we have been hearing from bands like Among Thorns and Sonicflood for years now. Only now it has a slightly more stale feeling.
If you are really hard pressed to find some new worship music then Starfield really doesn't have a bad debut album here but for the jaded commercialized-worship listener Starfield probably won't seem very interesting. Listen before you buy.

yeah that definitely is harsh. why do people have to be so biased? argh. like i said in my previous post in a diff part of the forum, just think of the happy things in life...yes, we are all entitled to our own opinions, so that's his. and yeah, i'm sure we're all against him...obviously by looking at the results of the poll...100% - 0% HAHA SUCKER! lol. bye guys.
