for the wack of concert photos ive seen and/or taken, ive usually had and seen the best results with my digital and flash off.. the flash usually washes everything out and as my saying is 'jesus is here'.. aka flash of light. i let the production lights do the light, plus dont want to blind the guys or anyone else.. especially if its a worship song etc etc.

i used a digital camera...never thought of taking off the flash...i will next time tho...especially if i'm so close up front.

Yeah, I was trying to explain the flash thing to my mom (she held the camera hostage the entire time -_-) and she didn't get it, but at least she listened to me.

Conversation went something like:

"Make sure you turn off the flash."
"...why?"
"Because we're far away, it doesn't do any good anyway, and you'll just blind them. It's general concert etiquette."
"They've got lights shining in their faces anyway..."
"Not this kind. Trust me, the flash won't do any good anyway."
"...I don't get it."
"*eye twitch*"

That's funny :) Ya and it would be maddening to me.. esp if it was a digital and I could see the shots she/others were taking. I see other pictures of worship leaders or something with this MASSIVE flash on their faces... I'd like to ask them that one day.. how do stay so serene in your worship 'mode'.. and have all these lightbulbs going off?

Maybe I'll upload the full pictures that she took and post them, but they aren't all that exciting. They all pretty much look the same, or ended up blurry.

I'm so sad, because my camera battery died right before the event, so whatever pictures we got were ones she took.
