Hey Bonnie,

Congrats on finding SF - I actually became a fan in a similar way, I went to the Jakefield/Mennonite tour to see Jake, had no clue who these Starfield guys were, but became an instant fan. 

And to second what Ashley said...that's the guys for ya.  They're approachable, there's no 'holier than thou' complex, they're just 4 regular guys who want to worship God - and that rocks.

For those of you outside of this inside joke...We really thought the projected video of the Japanese opener band was hilarious!!! The drummer was psycho! We laughed our heads off at that dude!!

I've seen Starfield in concert 3 times going on 4 in 63 dayz! Every moment I spend with them is memeroable! I know it sounds dumb but it is. First time I saw them was at a Jakefield concert, I thought they were pretty good, but I was too obsessed with Jake to say anything to them. Then Last yr I heard they were coming to Victoria again so I was like awesome lets go! Turns out the day be4 I went I got in a huge fight with my then bestes friends in the world. I was really really depressed and my whole life was such a mess. The next day while I was waiting to leave I was alone for what 3hrs, at that point in my life I wouldnt say I was suicidal but I would have deffinetly hurt myself, but I didnt bc I was going to the concert. At the concert I was astounded by these boyz that have so much heart and feel soooo much for God. Then Tim gave his testimony and it was like God was speaking through him right to me, thats when I knew that I wanted what they had. They have had such a HUGE impact on my life. Then I went up to talk to them and get pics, and Jon started making fun of my smile and imatating me, then turned to Tim and was like 'hey tim, doesn't she look like Jill' Tim got this huge grin on his face and was like 'O YA!!! Oooo but don't worry ... shes hot' I was like 'uhhhhh.... thanx .... I think...' lol! That would have to be like the best day in my life! Then I saw them again this yr, and it was amazing bc I could see ppl around me having there lives change ... like my one of my closest friends, she didn't change as much as I did, but shes deffinetly growing. It was really amazing. Then I went up to talk to them later. And I was like 'You guys are awesome you don't know how much your music has impacted me, and how much I owe to you for bring me and my friend back to God' he was like 'awesome' lol then he was like 'HEY I remember you!!!' I was like 'Ya you and Jon made fun of my smile, not kool, not kool' and he was like laughing and was like 'ya not kool' and we talked some more and ya. It was awesome! These guys mean so much to me! I don't know where I would be if I didnt go to that concert!

Bonnie! Thats sooo cool! I did almost the same thing for my friend.
I was talking with my friends during lunch and I was eating a fruit bar and I looked up and who did I see ... I SAW JON!!! IN MY SKOOL!!!! I was like thinkin to myself 'stay calm, don't throw up, relax, but most importantly BREATHE!!!' haha so then I went outside and my sis was like 'ange, shaun wants to talk to you' or something so we started chatting (my dad taught him so thats how we know eachother) so we were talking then the bell rang and we went into class ... I was SO happy but then I was like 'DANG I should've gotten them to sing to my friend for her bday' so I was kinda sulking then my other friend was like 'hey ange they are in the art room!!!!' SO I was like 'AHHH gotta get them to sing!' SO I got Shaun, Jonny5, and Jon to sing to my best friend! She was sooo happy and slightly embarassed! that day was soooo cool!

K thats what I thought you meant. I saw them while they where doing their cross Canada tour. I saw them in Beautiful British Columbia, Victoria

The first time i saw SF in concert was when they was in Corryton touring w/ Chris Tomlin. when they opened for him i just started to love there music!!!they are soo awesome!!!& they did great at that concert!!!!i loved there music & still do!!!They are great!!!!

I saw SF at Creation East and while i had found out about them not too long ago in January, they blew me away in concert.  The down to earth attitude and true passion for God was so clear.  unlike some artists their music comes from the heart and it is apparent.  The show was awsome and i felt drew a pretty good crowed for a first time band.  The medley of songs " remember guys its not about the music its about the words" rocked my socks.  and then the "encore" of the buy cd's song was amazing.  I was an instand fan.
