I saw an interview w/ Starfield from back in '01, and Jon and Tim where there but Shaun and Jonny5 weren't. What's the story on Starfield's member change(s?)?
The impression I've gotten is, they had four members when they first started out, but two were suddenly no longer part of the band. For the last little bit, they've been just rotating random drummers and bassists. Now that they've been signed with Sparrow, it seems they've finally gained the two (Johnny and Shaun) as permanent band members. (I hope!)
If someone can clear up further, that would be great.
all righty... when Starfield started way back when in manitoba, there were 2 other memebers along with Tim and Jon. Those two slowly parted ways (adrian is still around at some of their shows... visiting, or helping with sounds and lights. he's doing his own thing in music last i knew). during the brighter tour with jake the guys shared the drummer zooks for awhile (but dont quote me on that...). then johnny 5 came along and has been with them even since. mike hills was played bith with the guys for awhile but he was also with another band here in the vancouver area and has stayed with them. shaun is the most recent guy and is playing with them. he is extremely talented at what he does... all the guys have great gifts from God when it comes to music. shaun was playing guitar/bass for a country singer and then found his way to Starfield and is now with them. johnny 5 and shaun are both BC boys (so much talent is coming from the west coast, awesome!). thats the story in short.
ok way back when it was tim, jon, dave miller, dave courtney and dave schwartz (i have the pictures to prove it ;). then schwartz left reducing it to a 4-some. then dave courtney left and adrian came along. then dave miller left (he has the recording studio where they recorded their first couple of cd's).. and carlin lemon/heibert came along for awhile.. then carlin got busy and mike smith came along for a long time (miss you mike!.. he's a great rock star to shoot photos of.. just see the YC Wpg pictures). then adrian left and johnny 5 came about.. but adrian and himself have been drumming for jake and starboys for awhile. then finally the guys got signed and needed fulltime members.. they found shaun through johnny and the rest is history!

ok apologies again :| I forgot about James! How could I forget about him.. played at Little River Faith Fest and goes to my church! (He was in the middle of the Mike Hill era) Egad.. one of my fave pics is of him, Adrian, Jonny, Tim, and Toby with a rollarblade (tsk tsk on me).

you've actually all seen (all) of the photos I've done of the boys :) the good ones that is... my fave are the vibes (screen shots) and then yc 2003, they are all in the photo pages.. most of those are mine.. if they dont say fan etc.. (that and i didn't go on tour with them!).. other than the ones that are from WAY back when in an old scrapbook that's laminated together :)

wow, they've had a lot of member changes! when i first saw them, it was Tim, Jon, Adrian (whom i saw the other day...) and Dave (miller).
