As you can see, I've got a lot to put into this post, so I will attempt to give you the Reader's Digest version as opposed to the novel.
First off, I want to say a big, HUGE thank you to every single member on this board. Watching this thing grow from when I was the only member to where it is now is incredible. It's great to see that you are all having such an awesome time here - that's what this board is for, to give the fans a place to chat about the best band in the world
Also had to give a shoutout to webgirl (aka Alyssa) for all that you've done for the board. I know I've said it like a hundred million times, but I don't think the board would be what it is if you hadn't hooked me up like that, linking the board to the site.
I also have to give a huge thanks [if they're reading it] to Tim, Jon, Johnny and Shaun for giving the go ahead to link this board to the site - that meant a whole lot that you had enough faith in the board to affiliate it with the official site, so thanks. [btw, Tim - my friend John wants to know if you've listened to our church's worship CD that we gave you @ the Valentine's Day show, he's still waiting for the phonecall where you say that he's amazing and that you need his talent in the band, lol - sorry John, love ya you hoser].
Secondly, have to give a big welcome to everyone who has signed up, something I should have done at the beginning [major apologies ]. Not counting myself in the member list, this board now has a population of 64 registered members, plus all our anonymous posters...too cool! I also noticed that there are some American Starfield fans, so a big welcome to all of you, and of course all the hardcore Canadian SF fans.
The final bit of my schpiel is to do with some of the user accounts. First off, if you were waiting for an email conformation note, I went ahead and activated your account, so you are free to post.
Secondly, I was checking through my user admin, and noticed that there were a few instances of people with 2 accounts with 2 very similar email addresses, and in most cases, one of those accounts had never been accessed. My question is whether or not you want me to keep those accounts active, or do you mind if I delete them?
